We are a Cultural Coherence Community of Practice for White Bodies - hosted by Fabric MPLS
Let’s breakout that down!
Cultural Coherence: This is a community of white bodied people working to heal white supremacy in ourselves and our communities lead by Rachel Martin. We are going to be using her curriculum and resources and our facilitators will be coached by Rachel Martin too.
Community of Practice: Healing white supremacy in ourselves and our communities is ongoing work that requires support and accountability. A lot of work needs to be done internally and at the systemic levels, but community is what keeps us grounded in the work and gives us the support to keeping moving. This is a group for people with white bodies to show up and and give each other the support and accountability we need to stay in the work.
For White Bodies: While our end goal is for healing among all racial groups, this group is only for white-bodied folks. There is too much risk that the conversations and practicing in our space would cause harm to bodies that are black, Indigenous or people of color (BIPOC). If you are BIPOC and interested in this sort of work, contact us, and we’d be happy to connect you with some other resources in the area.
Hosted by Fabric MPLS: Fabric MPLS is a community in South Minneapolis that knows it cannot be …. idk, Melissa, you’ve go this part down.

I love this opportunity to combine an incredible Vampire movie set in 1930s Mississippi Delta, historical and spiritual context and a dinner table of people to process and learn with!
