Nothing Short About It!
Pixar shorts are delightful and charming to watch, but did you know that there is a well designed theory around the storytelling they use to create them? These animated shorts draw us in with emotional connections and with characters that help us to relate and learn about our own stories. They help us to look at the world with new perspectives and bring out empathy in us, the viewer. Fabric kids will be exploring the big lessons tucked within a few of these animated shorts as we take a look at how the power of stories help us to discover some truths about ourselves.
January 25th: Unlocking the power of a story. Kids will become detectives to help discover the gifts we receive from storytelling and will explore how each of our strands (self, others, and God) help us to grow from our own stories and from the stories that surround us.
