CareIQ+

Tough situations rise up daily for you to support and encourage others, and those times are big enough challenges. But you also face times when the stakes are a lot higher and the needs a lot bigger. What do you do then? The skills used most of the time aren’t the skills needed in these CareIQ moments. Join us Sundays in January and in Groups as we help us all raise our CareIQ.

January 8 - CareIQ+ and You  If you were to boil down the Bible’s or any sacred tradition’s message you end up with something like “Love one another.” If only it were that easy. It’s hard enough in the best of times and not all times are the best of times. So what do you do when faced with the unresolvable, complex, over-your-head situations in your life or in the lives of those you love? There are no easy answers or tricks, but there is CareIQ and you can raise yours! LIVESTREAM | PODCAST | SUNDAY PAPER | GROUP GUIDE

January 15 - The CareIQ Toolbox  When you need to change a light bulb, or turn off the faucet a little tighter so it won’t leak you probably have all you need to do the job in hand. But if the water is spurting from the pipes, or the wiring is the problem with your light, then it’s time to pull out your toolbox and maybe watch a YouTube video. Relationships are the same; they have toolbox situations too. What’s in your toolbox? And do you know how to use them? Jessi Bergh, MSW, will join us as we explore our toolboxes. January 22 - CareIQ at Work  Like any tool, CareIQ tools take practice to use them well, or even at all. And sometimes it helps to get a lesson from a pro. Not to make you a pro, but so you don’t make things worse. And maybe to know when to call in the pro. We are calling on a couple of CareIQ pros, Jen Markworth and Chris Lillehei, to join us and give us an extra boost in our CareIQ. There will be plenty of time for your questions. Why do this? God cares, we care, and caring in ways that help takes learning and practice! LIVESTREAM | PODCAST | SUNDAY PAPER | GROUP GUIDE

January 29 - Creating a CareIQ Culture  The power of one isn’t what one person can do on their own, but what they can inspire others to also do. What you can do is great, but expanding circles of people moving through the world, practiced with their CareIQ Toolboxes, can make our society healthier and more resilient so we can recover from the inevitable challenges we face. Join Melissa Lock and Greg Meyer in learning how to not only practice but spread our CareIQ! LIVESTREAM | PODCAST | SUNDAY PAPER | GROUP GUIDE
