Going a Second Mile

40 of us were able to show up at the Schmidt Artist Lofts on May 22 for Fabric’s 2nd Mile event.
We are building momentum! That’s always a great thing, but it’s essential as we prepare for Greg’s retirement so we can be at our best as we welcome new leadership. Energy, insight, positivity, commitment, and laughter filled the room in May as people shared ideas about what momentum looks like in three areas:
Presence on Sundays
Helping out with needed teams, and
Getting the word out and inviting others
This will be a sprint for the summer and the first two months of the fall. Let’s keep things as simple as we can and let’s also show up well! Thanks for doing your part.
Why “Second Mile?”
Jesus said if you are compelled to go one mile with someone, keep going a second mile. As we are exploring in Let’s Go Beyond this month, Fabric always encourages us to go the second mile!
